1. Who we are
Quantum Network is a division of Qsentinel AG. Quantum Network operates from Schorenweg 44B, 4144 Arlesheim, Switzerland.
The legal entity responsible for the processing of personal data described in this privacy policy is:
Qsentinel AG
Obere Bahnhofstrasse 48
9500 Wil SG
Switzerland
UID: CHE-234.887.578
Commercial Register No.: CH-320.3.102.201-9
Privacy contact: info@quantumnetwork.ch. Full company details are in our legal notice.
2. Which law applies
We process personal data in accordance with the Swiss Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and other applicable Swiss data protection requirements.
Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies to particular processing activities, we also process personal data in accordance with the GDPR. Where the GDPR applies, the legal bases are: steps you request before a contract and the performance of a contract for your enquiries and requests, our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website, and your consent for statistics.
3. When you visit this website
The website runs on servers of Hetzner Online GmbH in Germany. When you open a page, your browser sends technical information to the server, such as your IP address, the date and time, the page requested, the referring page and your browser identification. The web server records this in log files. We use this information to deliver the website, keep it secure, prevent abuse and investigate errors. We keep these logs only as long as needed for these purposes.
The typefaces are served from this website itself. Your browser does not contact a font provider to display these pages.
4. Cookies and similar technologies
On your first visit a consent banner asks which categories you allow. The banner is provided by Complianz, a plugin that runs on our own server. Your choice is stored on your device in cookies named cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_consented_services, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics and cmplz_marketing, for 365 days.
Without any consent, the website also uses two small entries in your browser’s session storage, which are deleted when you close the tab: wpEmojiSettingsSupports, set by WordPress to check how your browser displays emoji, and sc_sid, a random identifier that keeps one chat conversation together.
Statistics, only with your consent. If you allow statistics, we use Google Analytics 4, provided by Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC, to see how the website is used. Google Analytics then sets the cookies _ga and _ga_SGHC2550F1, kept for up to two years. Google receives a pseudonymous identifier, the pages you visit, the referring page, information about your device and browser, and your IP address as part of the connection. Google may process this data in the United States. If you do not allow statistics, Google Analytics is not loaded.
We do not use marketing or advertising cookies, advertising pixels or a tag manager container. The LinkedIn link on the contact page is a plain link and does not load anything from LinkedIn until you click it.
You can change or withdraw your choice at any time with the “Cookie Settings” link at the bottom of every page. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before.
5. The contact form
The contact form asks for your company name, your name, your work email address, your phone number if you choose to give it, and your message. Your entry is stored in the website database and sent to us by email. We use it to answer your question and, where relevant, to discuss your technical requirements.
6. Proposal and call requests
The configurator on the “Get my proposal” page calculates an indicative configuration in your browser from the answers you select. Nothing is sent while you use it. If you submit it, we receive your name, your work email address, your company, your phone number if you give it, and the answers you selected about your network.
The “Talk to an expert” form sends your name, your work email address, your company and your phone number.
With both forms we also receive the page you were on, the page you came from, the type of device (mobile, tablet or desktop), any campaign parameters in the link you followed, and the time you agreed to be contacted. Your request is stored in the website database and sent to our team by email. We send you an automatic confirmation by email. We use your request to contact you, discuss your network and prepare a proposal. Nothing from these forms is stored in your browser.
7. The AI assistant
The chat assistant answers questions about our products. The messages you type are sent to our server, which forwards the conversation to Anthropic PBC in the United States to generate the answer. Do not enter confidential, sensitive or security-critical information in the chat.
Conversations are stored in the website database and deleted automatically after 90 days. To limit misuse, the number of messages per visitor is limited; for this your IP address is processed in hashed form for a short time. If you ask for a call in the chat, we receive the name, email address, phone number, preferred time and topic you enter. That request is stored in the website database and sent to our team by email.
8. Email
Our mailboxes and the emails sent by this website are handled by TransIP B.V. in the Netherlands. The website keeps a log of the emails it sends, including recipient, subject and content, for 14 days.
9. Booking a call with Calendly
Some pages and emails link to Calendly so that you can book a call yourself. Calendly is not loaded on this website. If you follow the link, Calendly LLC in the United States processes the details you enter there under its own privacy policy.
10. How long we keep your data
Chat conversations are deleted after 90 days and email logs after 14 days. We keep enquiries and requests for up to 24 months after our last contact about them, unless we enter into a contract with you, in which case we keep what the contract and Swiss accounting rules require. We delete data sooner if you ask us to and no legal obligation prevents it.
11. Who receives your data
Within Qsentinel AG, only the people who handle your request see it. We use these service providers: Hetzner Online GmbH, Germany (hosting); TransIP B.V., Netherlands (email and domain name services); Anthropic PBC, United States (AI assistant); Google Ireland Limited and Google LLC (statistics, only with your consent). We do not sell personal data and we do not use what you enter in a form for advertising.
12. Data leaving Switzerland
Hosting and email take place in Germany and the Netherlands, which the Swiss Federal Council recognises as providing an adequate level of data protection.
Some data is processed in the United States:
Chat messages are processed by Anthropic PBC. This is based on the standard contractual clauses included in Anthropic’s data processing addendum.
Statistics data, only if you consent, is processed by Google. For transfers from Switzerland to the United States, Google relies on the Swiss-U.S. Data Privacy Framework and, where that does not apply, on standard contractual clauses.
If you follow a Calendly link and book a call, Calendly LLC processes your booking. Calendly is certified under the Data Privacy Framework and its data processing addendum provides for standard contractual clauses as a fallback.
If you would like more information about these safeguards, contact us at info@quantumnetwork.ch.
13. Your rights
Depending on the applicable law and circumstances, you have the right to access your personal data, to have it corrected or deleted, to object to its processing, to withdraw a consent you gave, to have processing restricted and to receive your data in a portable format. Statutory conditions and exceptions may apply.
To exercise these rights, email info@quantumnetwork.ch. We may ask you to confirm your identity before we act.
14. Complaints
In Switzerland the supervisory authority is the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC), Bern, edoeb.admin.ch. Where the GDPR applies, you may also lodge a complaint with the competent supervisory authority in the European Union or the European Economic Area.
15. Changes to this policy
If we change how we handle personal data, we update this page and the date at the top.
